P-plater, 17, loses licence after hitting 170kmh in a 100kmh zone, police say

A 17-year-old P-plater caught driving 70kmh above the speed limit on the Tuggeranong Parkway has had his licence suspended and vehicle seized by police.

Police said they detected the teenager travelling 170kmh in the 100kmh zone about 11pm on Saturday and stopped the driver later that night.
