Ozzy Osbourne has ruled out ever working as a member of Black Sabbath again after over five decades.
In the legendary rock group formed in Birmingham in 1968 and have since gone on to conquer the world with guitarist Tomy Iommi, Bill Ward on drums, Geezer Butler and Ozzy Osbourne taking the vocals.
Despite Ozzy and Geezer leaving several times, the group eventually reunited and have continued to tour across the globe, with 30 headline tours.
Over the course of their career, they released 19 studio albums as well as a string of live albums and compilations.
But just months after Ozzy and Tony performed at the closing ceremony of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, the group will not get back together.
Ozzy said: "No, no more Black Sabbath but I wouldn't say no to doing some more with Tony.
"Black Sabbath is completely different music to what I'm into now."
When asked whether the group are over for good, he said: "Well, it's kind of, like, how many times do you wanna do the same… It's the same format, you know? It was very successful for a lot of years, and people wanted to see us."
He went on to tell Sirius XM's Ozzy Speaks radio show: "I did that farewell tour and the only thing about that which was sad [was that original member] Bill Ward wasn't there.
"I've spoken to Bill since. He's all right. I'd work with any of them individually.
"But as Black Sabbath, I think it's [over], we couldn't really beat what we've already done."
But despite saying he'll no longer get up on stage with Black Sabbath, the rocker hopes he can continue his 2023 No More Tours, tour, adding: "When you do live gigs you get one shot and if you f**k it up you are done."
But while Ozzy and his wife Sharon Osbourne had reportedly been planning to move back to the UK, more specifically Buckinghamshire after over 25 years in Los Angeles – this could be off the cards.
It's claimed the legendary stars were set to star in a BBC reality show following a string of health worries, as well as Ozzy's wishes to be buried in the UK.
He previously said: "I'm English, I want to be back… It's time for me to come home."
Now, however, he's explained that he's changed his mind and no longer wants to move back across the pond, claiming: "I'm American now."
