Ozzy Osbourne has been pictured walking unaided weeks after cancelling his UK and Europe tour.
The 74-year-old Black Sabbath star was spotted taking a stroll with his carer around Los Angeles.
Despite his recent health battles, Ozzy appeared able to walk on his own instead of with the cane he had previously used to support himself.
The legendary rocker has undergone a number of surgeries in the past few months, as well as dealing with his ongoing battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Looking relaxed in a black T-shirt, black shorts and black trainers, Ozzy was even seen sniffing some flowers during his walk.
The sighting comes weeks after Ozzy made the “heartbreaking” announcement he couldn’t tour any more.
In a statement, he told fans: “This is probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to share with my loyal fans.
“As you may know, four years ago, this month, I had a major accident, where I damaged my spine.
"My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage. My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) Treatment, my body is still physically weak.”
Ozzy went on to say: "I am honestly humbled by the way you've all patiently held onto your tickets for all this time, but in all good conscience, I have now come to the realisation that I'm not physically capable of doing my upcoming European/ UK tour dates, as I know I couldn't deal with the travel required.
“Believe me when I say that the thought of disappointing my fans really F***S ME UP, more than you will ever know.”
"Never would I have imagined my touring days would have ended this way. My team is currently coming up with ideas for where I will be able to perform without having to travel from city to city and country to country.
"I want to thank my family.... my band.... my crew.... my longtime friends, Judas Priest, and of course my fans for their endless dedication, loyalty, and support, and for giving me the life that I never dreamed that I would have.”
He ended the post by simply saying: “I love you all..."
In addition to his Parkinson's diagnosis, Ozzy has struggled with his health following a severe fall at his home in 2019 which required several neck and back surgeries.
Before that, he damaged his neck in a quad bike accident in 2003.
Ozzy shared how frustrating his life has become as he can no longer perform in a recent radio interview with SiriusXM – and said even in his drug addict days he would bounce back quicker.
He said: "It is so f***ing tough because, I mean, I want to be out there. I want to be doing it.
"The thing is my head is all right, my creativity is OK, my singing OK but I just can’t f***ing walk much now.
"When I was a downbeat drunken drug addict I would not be out this long. It is just as frustrating as f**k."
