Arsenal get their FA Cup campaign underway tonight as they travel to face Oxford in a third-round clash.
It’s been a competition in recent seasons that has regularly lifted the mood for the Gunners while things have stalled in the Premier League, but this time Arsenal enter the FA Cup with confidence sky-high.
Even with a frustrating goalless draw against Newcastle last time out the Gunners are still five points clear at the top of the Premier League, sparking hopes of a first title in nearly two decades.
There is a long way to go though and for now the focus for Mikel Arteta and his side is on the FA Cup and a trip to Oxford, who sit 14th in League One.
