The owner of The Adelphi, Scarisbrick and Prince of Wales hotels has been ranked as the UK's worst hotel chain for the ninth year in a row.
Britannia, the hotel chain which is also behind Southport's Pontins, has been ranked as the worst hotel chain in the UK for a ninth consecutive year, according to an annual survey by consumer group Which?.
The company, which has 61 hotels across the UK, has come bottom of the pile after receiving an average customer score of only 49%.
