The geniuses behind Camile Thai have taken a big step by launching Thindi - a new Indian restaurant with four exciting locations.
60 jobs have been created in Shankill, Phibsborough, Clarehall and Sligo Town as a result of the new venture, which Camile Food Group bigwigs say will "invite a new generation of foodies to turn their weekly routine into a ritual, with a fresh perspective on the authentic flavours of this indulgent subcontinent culture."
The restaurants are open now for customers in Shankill, with the feel-good Indian also available for collection, takeaway or delivery to customers in Phibsborough, Clarehall and Sligo Town.

Commenting on the announcement, Thindi Founder, Brody Sweeney said: "The genesis of Thindi was to challenge the perception of Indian takeaway, responding to the growing demands of customers for new experiences in home dining, whatever their lifestyle choices, so we’re delighted to be celebrating the official launch of the brand and the opening of our fourth restaurant in Shankill.
"We really wanted to make this century-old cuisine accessible to the next generation, leaning into the joy and indulgence of traditional Indian flavours.
"As we continue to see growth right across the Camile Thai network, both locally and indeed in the UK, we have a greater understanding of our customers, the locations that work and the technology to manage orders and deliveries directly through the new Thindi app.
"Our experienced team of Indian food alchemists are delivering an inclusive menu that will introduce diners to a wide variety of regional flavours, while celebrating locally sourced quality ingredients, with sustainability at the heart of everything we do.”
Founded by Brody in Dublin in 2010, there are now 47 Camile Thai restaurants across Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK, with further locations planned over the coming months.
Since launching, Camile Thai Kitchen became the first takeaway food brand in Europe to deliver 100% compostable packaging, trialling takeaway food delivered by drone and along with nutritional information, the first in Ireland to display the Carbon Footprint of each dish on its menus and website.
During the pandemic, the chain offered flexible franchise options for business owners with well-located, but underused kitchens in restaurants, bars and hotels.
This helped them continue to operate despite the lockdown restrictions.
