A pet dog seized by police for an assessment later died in a kennels leaving its owners devastated.
Gina Beggs and Marc Culley, of Withernsea, Hull, had their eight-month-old dog, Jax, taken off them for an assessment on Monday, May 2, after police were alerted their puppy had a brown nose like a Pitbull.
Pitbulls are classed as a dangerous dog which need to be assessed to ensure they are not a danger to society - they are normally returned to the owners if no issues arise, reports Hull Live.
