Owner of 'UK's biggest gold chain' wants Tyson Fury to buy his huge crucifix

The owner of the "UK's biggest gold chain" is hoping Tyson Fury will buy his huge crucifix when it goes to auction. Andreo Montanino originally came across the statement chain in the window of a gold bullion dealer and decided to buy it for his gran.

She passed away 18 months ago, however her devastated grandson couldn't bear parting with the impressive piece of jewellery for it to be melted down, the Mirror reports. The chain, believed to be the largest in the UK, weighs in at a hefty 1.5kg.

It is estimated to fetch a whopping £30,000 when it goes up for auction on September 22, where the piece will be sold to the highest bidder. The 9ct gold belcher chain has 28 13mm links, one of which is hallmarked ‘Sheffield 1997 JH & S’.
