The owner of a missing Jack Russell terrier cross has been left devastated after he jumped from her car window on the Prince of Wales Bridge. Louise Boss, who lives in Wales but had been visiting a friend in Bristol with her two dogs on the day of the incident, described how her young dog Mouser, who is a little more than a year old, managed to escape from her car while she was driving.
More than two weeks later, he remains missing and it's not clear which side of the bridge he ended up on, although one witness reported seeing him running towards the Bristol side. Louise told Bristol Live that she had been returning home from her visit to Bristol at about 6.30pm on Tuesday, November 8.
She described how the weather was "torrential rain" and, because the A48 bridge was closed, traffic was "bumper to bumper". She said: "I got on the bridge and both of my dogs were in the car.
