Owner catches pet dogs and cat mid-fight, their reaction is priceless

Anyone who has ever lived with more than one pet will know that peace is always fleeting. One minute all is quiet, and the next, chaos is quietly afoot in the background. A video that has gone viral proves just how quickly pets can go from being troublemakers to being picture-perfect angels the second they are caught.

The video, posted on the Instagram account @bunsenberner.bmd, features a Bernese Mountain Dog named Bernoulli, a Golden Retriever named Beaker, and their cat brother, Ginger, all caught in a frozen moment of time after being caught in the act. Their owner has just entered the room, and all activity has come to a standstill.

The show of solidarity does not last for long. As the camera pans to Beaker, the Golden Retriever's body language contradicts what is going on. A text overlay jokingly indicates that she is ready to come clean and admit that a fight did, in fact, occur. Ginger is quick to disagree with Beaker's admission of guilt, while Bernoulli makes one last-ditch effort to prove his innocence by claiming that he loves the cat and that he never had her head anywhere near his mouth.

All suspense is ended when the owner’s caption puts the question to rest, verifying that the peaceful poses were merely a ruse and that the pets had indeed been fighting before they were caught.

The internet was in love with every bit of it. Comments poured in as viewers pointed out how Bernoulli’s innocent-looking expression betrayed his guilt. Others praised Beaker for not playing along with the charade, nicknaming her the “truth-teller” of the bunch. Many simply summarized the moment as “delightful chaos” and enjoyed how well the personalities of each animal shone through in the short clip.

The video is a reminder that life with multiple pets is never boring and that no matter how hard they try to look innocent, their faces will often betray them.
