Worried that you haven’t gotten your invitation to the hottest party of the spring? Don’t fret. Blizzard hasn’t started sending out Overwatch 2 PVP beta invites yet. In fact, players probably won’t start receiving them until Tuesday, which is the day the beta goes live.
"My understanding, it should be day and date,” Overwatch community manager Andy Belford said on content creator Flats' Twitch stream. Belford noted Blizzard will start sending out invites on the day the beta servers are switched on. The first wave of invites won’t all go out right away, either. It’ll be a gradual process.
The Overwatch 2 PVP beta will be a massive step forward for the franchise. New hero Sojourn is a blast, and some heroes felt much better during the alpha test. I hope as many players as possible can check out the new-look PVP for themselves next week.
