Police are continuing overnight patrols in three Nottinghamshire areas to combat speeding and anti-social behaviour. Officers have been tasked with patrolling around West Bridgford, Gamston and Edwalton in recent days.
On the evening of Wednesday, September 28 the officers also undertook speed checks. These were carried out on motorists travelling on the A52 between Ruddington and Edwalton.
In a Twitter post, Nottinghamshire Police's Rushcliffe team said: "West Bridgford response and neighbourhood policing teams continue overnight patrols around West Bridgford, Gamston and Edwalton areas due to recent reports of speeding/ anti-social behaviour. This evening further speed checks have been conducted A52 between Ruddington/ Edwalton."

Locals replied to the force's tweet praising their efforts. They highlighted Wilford Road and Main Road in Radcliffe-on-Trent as problem spots.
