A gloomy and wet start to the week awaits Leeds residents with some sporadic spells of sunshine.
If you are heading out this morning, best bring a brolly as there is a good chance of light rain from 7am until lunchtime. From 11am to 2pm expect some sunshine as the sun tries her best to break through the clouds with temperatures of up to 7C.
More light showers are forecast from 4pm, according to the Met Office which will last until 8pm. The rest of Monday evening and night will be partly cloudy with minimum temperatures of 5C.

Forecasters said: "Blustery showers expected throughout the day, mostly across western parts. Sunnier spells in the east during the afternoon. Feeling cold in strong winds, especially over western high ground. Maximum temperature 7 °C."
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday
The weather will remain unsettled over the next few days with periods of showers and rain moving eastwards across the region on all three days with frequent strong winds. Temperatures around average but it will feel colder due to the wind.
