Over 40 more additions have been made to the inaugural line-up of the Otherlands Music and Arts Festival at Scone Palace.

The debut edition of the unique camping festival will welcome fans to the home of Scotland’s kings and queens on August 19-21 for three days of cutting-edge music and art, boutique glamping, sensory brunches and bespoke talks from industry leaders.

The festival announced its first round of acts including Bicep, Jamie XX and Tom Misch last month.

Joining the live acts already announced are: Maverick Sabre; Kojaque, Priestgate; HYYTS; VLURE and Kaputt; Perth pop six-piece Parliamo; and Dundee’s Theo Bleak.

From Scotland’s underground hip hop scene, Aberdeen’s Chef and Edinburgh’s Billy Got Waves have been announced.

Berlin-based DJ Dream_E and Aberdeen DJ and production duo testpress will be providing DJ sets.

Organisers have shared details on the first of their official stage partners, welcoming many cultural institutions to curate a programme of live and electronic artists across the weekend.

At the helm of the Otherlands dance arena is the world-famous Sub Club, boasting a line-up packed with the best in cutting edge electronic music, from international heavyweights to emerging local talent.

The line-up for this stage includes: Folamour; Elkka (live); Ricardo Villalobos; Craig Richards, B2B with Nicolas Lutz; Roman Flugel; Honey Dijon; Chaos In The CBD; DJ Seinfield and TSHA.

Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s will be curating their own live stage championing the best in up and coming talent.

BBC Introducing will be gathering some of the best in Scotland’s unsigned talent for a stage boasting punk, electronic, rap and beyond.

Connecting international club culture with the world since 2010, Boiler Room will be hosting their very own stage, making Otherlands their first camping festival broadcast in the channel’s history.

Stage splits and further stage partner announcements to follow in the coming months.

Official club partners have also been announced today, including: Jaime; Le Freak and Friends; Mi Casa; Progressive; Voyage; All Good; Céleste; Dannsa; Night Tube; Pure Honey; Rare; Alien Communications; DBT; Picnic Records; and Selextorhood.

Founder of Otherlands Music and Arts Festival, Tom Ketley said: “We’re thrilled to be able to reveal so many amazing artists for Otherlands’ very first line-up, not to mention our stage partners who will really help make Otherlands an invaluable platform for up and coming acts from all genres.

“We want this to be more than a music festival, and partnering with organisations that are so important to the country’s culture can help us do this by really elevating what we are offering fans to the next level.”

Tier two and day tickets go on sale today (March 25) at noon via www.otherlandsfestival.com

The third and final wave of acts will drop at the end of May.
