Over 300 former staffers of Kamala Harris from various points in her career have come together to endorse her for president. The endorsement letter was organized by Rachel Palermo, who previously served as associate counsel and deputy communications director to the vice president. The initiative to show support for Harris began after President Joe Biden endorsed her as his running mate.

By Monday evening, more than 300 former Harris staffers from different roles such as the White House, her campaign team, her time as California attorney general, and her tenure as San Francisco district attorney had signed the endorsement letter. Palermo mentioned that the response from the former staffers was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing excitement and willingness to assist the campaign.

The show of support from Harris' former colleagues highlights the strong relationships she has built throughout her career and the confidence they have in her ability to lead as president. The endorsement serves as a testament to the impact Harris has had on those who have worked closely with her and showcases the unity among her former team members.
