TWO battlefields, including the site where the First War of Scottish Independence was sparked, are in danger of being lost after plans to build an AI data centre were proposed, a local historian has warned.

Plans to build a huge data centre, covering more than 60 hectares on agricultural land on the outskirts of Dunbar, have drawn fierce backlash from locals since they were first unveiled in October 2025.
