With the arrival of Boxing Day, the fun is over for another year. Christmas has come and gone, leaving nothing in its wake but mountains of freshly-unwrapped socks, some wrapping paper rubble and the crumbs of a massive roast dinner.
But fortunately, there is still Boxing Day to enjoy. Unlike Christmas, Boxing Day is surely built for relaxation: there’s nothing to do, nobody to go and see and all the shops are shut. So, we’d argue, there’s no reason for not sticking the telly on and sitting back with the remains of the cheeseboard.
