It says something about the strength of this year’s festive offering that Outnumbered is very much the less mainstream option of the BBC’s Christmas television. We’ve had Gavin and Stacey. Doctor Who. Wallace and Gromit.
But spare a thought for the return of this beloved Noughties show, which is back on screens for the first time since 2016 – much to the delight of its die-hard fans – because an hour spent in the company of the Brockman family is still an hour well spent.
