Outlander star Sam Heughan's whisky brand recognised at American World Spirits awards

Outlander star Sam Heughan has been dipping his toes into other ventures outwith acting - and has been commended with an award at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Sam, as well as portraying Jamie Fraser in the popular Scottish fantasy series Outlander, also runs a successful alcohol brand called The Great Glen Company. As part of this venture, Sam has released a popular whisky called the Sassenach, as well as a tequila called The Sassenach Select.
