Outlander star Sam Heughan aims for director's spot in future after end of show

Scottish actor Sam Heughan is hugely popular on all fronts, but is best known for his role as Highland warrior Jamie Fraser in fantasy series Outlander, alongside his leading lady Claire (Caitriona Balfe).

As reported by the Daily Record, the 41-year-old recently revealed in a Forbes interview that he'd be interested in taking a dive into director work, on the other side of the lens.

Sam said: "Ooh, yeah. Good question. Well, I suppose you know, creating Men In Kilts - really enjoyed that process.
