Outlander star Richard Rankin says that season 7 is the best yet for Roger and Brianna as they navigate life in Fraser's Ridge.

Outlander returned to screens last week with the epic first episode of season seven, which is based on the seventh novel, An Echo in the Bone, in author Diana Gabaldon’s historical fantasy series.

Richard, 40, plays Roger on the show alongside his on-screen wife Sophie Skelton, 29, who plays Brianna while Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe star as Jamie and Claire Fraser.
