Outlander's Sam Heughan shares cheeky behind the scenes snap on season 7 set

Sam Heughan has treated fans to a cheeky behind the scenes snap of season seven, but he's making a rude gesture.

The Outlander actor has been sharing some behind the scenes sneak peaks of the brand new season but in his latest post fans saw a different side to Jamie Fraser. Sam posted a snap which was taken from one of the monitors on set of him and David Berry - who plays Lord John).

But Sam just happened to be giving someone the middle finger as the picture was captured. Captioning the post, he wrote: "Start the week right. Right? @mrdavidberry."

And the snap certainly made fans laugh. Many flocked to the comments to have their say.

One wrote: "Really? That's the new language from Jamie?" Another added: "This has got to mean the blooper reel is coming soon."

While one said: "I love this so much." And another added: "Some days…that’s just how they feel! Hope the week gets better!!!

Filming for season seven is well under way following the explosive season six finale. The intense cliff-hanger saw Claire Fraser, played by Caitriona Balfe, wrongly imprisoned for the death of Malva Christie.

Viewers are gearing up to see the continuation of the episode after Jamie raced against time to try and rescue his wife from behind bars. Although Claire proclaimed her innocence, she had been wrongly accused as Malva was found dead in her garden.

Droughtlander is now back in full swing, as viewers patiently wait for the shows return in 2023 to see the real villain exposed. There is a lot of speculation surrounding the future of the beloved series, as Outlander hasn't been renewed for an eighth season yet - leaving fans scared the show will end after the seventh.
