Outlander's Caitriona Balfe pens heartfelt tribute to Kenneth Branagh after Oscars win

Caitriona Balfe's latest project Belfast won Best Original Screenplay at the 94th Academy Awards.

The Outlander actress penned a heartfelt tribute to writer and director Kenneth Branagh after he scooped the award at the Oscars ceremony.

Belfast was nominated for seven Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, Actor in a Supporting Role and Actress in a Supporting Role.

Many fans thought Caitriona was snubbed, given she wasn't nominated for one despite her stellar performance in the film.
