The end of Droughtlander is here and fans are delighted at the goings-on in the first episode of the new season.
Season 7 of the historical drama premiered on Friday, June 16 and fans across the country set their alarms for 5 am to watch the action-packed first episode.
The new season begins where the previous finale left off, with Claire Fraser, played by Caitriona Balfe, arrested by the British Crown for witchcraft and the murder of her former medicinal trainee.
In the episode, Claire is accused numerous times of being a "witch" as her modern medicinal knowledge often confuses those around her.
The first episode "A Life Well Lost" sees Claire in custody, whilst Jamie Fraser, played by Sam Heughan and Young Ian, played by John Bell, keep an eye out for any allies.
Many have taken to social media to share what they thought of the eventful episodes - which sees familial revelations and even some sly humour.
