The latest clip from Outlander season six is foreshadowing the tension between Jamie Fraser and a certain person from his past.
Tom Christie (Mark Lewis Jones) is bringing his family to the Ridge this season, with daughter Malva (Jessica Reynolds) and Allan (Alexander Vlahos) tagging along for the ride after Jamie's call out to the people he knew at Ardsmuir.
However, it's been heavily hinted at through the teasers and clips that Jamie isn't exactly comfortable with Tom's arrival.
In one of the preview clips, he can be seen mulling it over with Claire, who tries to put him at ease.
And the latest teaser has definitely ramped that tension up more than just a little.
In the 30 second video, posted on the official Outlander social media, a firm Jamie can be seen stating: "My word at Fraser's Ridge is law."
However, not backing down, Tom responds: "God's Word is law, we put him first do we not Mr. Fraser?"
It's another hint that Tom, a devout Protestant, will butt heads with Jamie once again who is a Catholic, mirroring the growing divisions in their home country over religion.
Indeed, Malva can be also be seen stating: "Da taught me what he knows, knows a lot about the Devil too."
While son Allan responds to Young Ian asking if Tom taught him how to shoot by saying: "No, he'd say: 'Son, lay down thy weapons, and take up the shield of faith."
It's definitely another facet of what's facing the Fraser Ridge crew this season and has got fans excited to see how the Christies will shake things up.
One fan wrote: "Uh-oh, I smell trouble. Would there be any flashbacks to Ardsmuir I wonder? That would be cool."
Another wrote: "This...will be interesting. Power dynamics might shift."
While one joked: "They look like nice people and would be great neighbours, right?"
How do you think the Christies will affect things this season?
