Talking Tom & Friends developer Outfit 7 is heading to Green Jam 2023, where it will join other games creators in raising $1 Million to protect three wild ecosystems.
To achieve that goal, the mobile games developer is launching events in Talking Tom Gold Run and My Talking Angela 2 to raise awareness about wildlife conservation. And that’s not all, as Outfit 7 is also donating $60,000 to a charity called Re:wild that protects the critically endangered harlequin toad.
“Joining Green Game Jam 2023 is a testament to our commitment to making a positive impact in the world,” says Outfit7 CEO Xinyu Qian. “Both in-game events provide an engaging and fun way for players to learn about the importance of preserving the Amazon rainforest, and to inspire them to take action to protect it.”
Starting today, Talking Tom Gold Run’s Grow & Go event tasks players with collecting special water droplets to nurture an in-game tree all of their own. The more your tree prospers, the more endangered Amazonian animals you’ll see. There’s also a helping of in-game treats such as in-game currency up for grabs to reward you for your conservation efforts. If you’re keen to kickstart your conservation efforts, you can use the code “TREE” to get 300 extra water tokens.
As for My Talking Angela 2, there’s a brand new Balcony to discover that has you helping Talking Angela grow flowers to attract and look after bees, which are vital to sustaining the Amazon ecosystem. Use the promo code “BEE” for an extra 2,000 coins.
Both events will run every day from June 1 to June 12, and then every weekend after that until the end of June.
