The Outer Hebrides is expecting a bumper year for tourism amid hopes it will reach levels from before the pandemic.
Visitor numbers fell in the past two years to around 40 per cent, but hopes are high for a return to normality this year.
Rob MacKinnon, Chief Executive of Outer Hebrides Tourism, said the vast majority of visitors are domestic travellers making repeat visits to the islands, which include Lewis and Barra.
