The Oklahoma City Thunder are always praised for their community involvement, and that tradition continued this past Thursday and Friday as Ousmane Dieng held several community events.
The 20-year-old held three separate sporting goods giveaways throughout OKC and Shawnee. In total, he gifted over 500 items to local children at youth organizations.
With the help of Adidas, Dieng gifted clothing items such as shoes, socks and athletic shorts to the Shawnee YMCA, Boys and Girls Club of Oklahoma County. He also signed autographs and donated money to the organizations.
During the events, he also played basketball with some of the kids, which included a competitive game of knockout at a local school gym.
Let’s look at the highlights of Dieng’s two-day giveaway as he continues to spend his offseason in OKC and looks to improve upon his rookie season.
