Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has broken her silence on social media after it was revealed that she had engaged in a five-year extramarital affair.
The 48-year-old shepherdess, who shot to fame in the 2018 Channel 5 fly-on-the-wall documentary, hinted at “trials and tribulations” as she took to Instagram on Sunday.
Earlier this month, it came to light that Owen had been secretly seeing married businessman Robert Davies, 71, and living apart from husband Clive, 68, after they announced their split in June.
Mr Davies’ wife Yasumi, 56, blasted Owen after rumbling the affair and accused her of living a “TV lie".
Owen, who shares nine children with her ex husband, didn’t address the scandal directly in her social media post which featured a slew of pictures of her offspring as they helped out during spring lambing season.
She captioned her post: “Trials and tribulations,” along with a number of sheep emojis.
Her fans were thrilled to see her back online and rushed to the comments section to let her know it.
“One thing we’re all certain of in life is trials and tribulations, glad you’re back I’ve missed your posts Amanda,” wrote one person.
“Missed your beautiful photos of your gorgeous farm and even more gorgeous family. Keep sharing such joy with us, we love you Amanda,” penned a second.
While a third agreed: “You’ve been missed”.
