Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has vowed to continue wearing 'inappropriate clothing' after viewers claimed her attire wasn't suitable for farming.
The 47-year old TV star was the subject of fierce criticism last year after she shared an image of herself on Instagram in stilettos and a bodycon dress, prompting fans to say fame had changed her.
But the mother-of-nine has since rubbished such remarks insisting 'it's still all about the farm' and that an occasional glam look doesn't affect her duties as a shepherdess.
Amanda is currently gearing up for a headline slot at The Game Fair - an annual gathering for people passionate about countryside pursuits, which takes place at Warwickshire's Ragley Hall.
And when asked what visitors can expect from her the best selling author did not hold back, YorkshireLive reports that Amanda quipped: "Big earrings, inappropriate clothing and plain speaking. Whatever they expect I won't be it."
The star will be on hand to meet and greet fans at the three-day event, in addition to creating a farmhouse breakfast menu for the restaurant, mingling with diners and appearing on stage in the cookery theatre.
Earlier this month, meanwhile, Amanda confirmed her split from her spouse of 21 years, Clive, on Instagram after months of rumours and speculation regarding the state of the pair's relationship.
In a joint statement she wrote: "Clive and I have are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.
"This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family."
The statement continued: "Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children."
Channel 5 subsequently issued a statement regarding the future of their show following the news.
It seems despite the pair going their separate ways, the show will go on - with the broadcaster confirming there is a future for their much-loved series.
In a statement shared with the Express, it said: "We respect the privacy of Amanda and Clive Owen at this time.
"They are very much a part of the Channel 5 family and we will continue to work with them in the future."
