Amanda Owen has faced criticism of her social media presence, with some saying that she is 'hogging the limelight' from other family members.
The 47-year-old Our Yorkshire Farm star often posts photos and videos from life on Ravenseat Farm, and she naturally appears in a lot of them along with her children.
The Yorkshire shepherdess was once again quizzed on social media as to why her estranged husband, Clive Owen, rarely features and why she is more visible across her social pages.
Despite separating, Amanda and Clive still work together on the farm and their nine children assist them as the family pulls together to get the work done.
Amanda shared a number of snaps of life on the farm, with a caption: "Result! Crop got, roughly 200 + tonnes of the driest, sweetest fragrant herb rich meadow hay."
She finished the caption with the hashtags: "#yorkshire #sunshine #summer #haytime #hay #heatwave."
Despite Amanda previously stating why Clive doesn't usually appear on social media, she was once again questioned about his absence from the photos.
In the comments, one person wrote: "I ask the same question. Seems she just wants all the attention on her and the kids."
While another commented: "I love to see the children but she always has to be on the photos."
Back in April, Amanda addressed persistent questions about Clive and insisted at the time that he likes to keep a low profile on social media.
In response to a question on Twitter about Clive's absence from pics, the shepherdess wrote: "Because if you don’t wish to be on social media then that’s your choice.”
This time, fans flocked to defend Amanda after some critical comments on her Instagram post.
One wrote: "He doesn't want his pictures on social media he stated that right from the off so she's respecting his wishes."
While another commented: "Clive does not want to be in the limelight. Also, Amanda has said they are not together anymore."
A third made the most telling point: "It's her social media page."
Clive and Amanda announced their separation last month, after 21 years of marriage.
Amanda shared on Instagram: “Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate. This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family.”
She continued: “Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children.
“We would like to thank everyone for their support and would that the media please respect our privacy as we work through this difficult time.”
