Today the weather hasn't been what it was earlier this week but if you've checked the weather at all today then you know it's forecast to get better, with sunny spells coming on Friday and a nice dry Easter bank holiday expected by the Met Office.
In headlines today the story of a boy and his mum has touched many. Emma Simpson and her husband Peter called 111 after days of their son Adam being unwell and were told to take him straight to A&E.

Emma, who thought Adam had just twisted his ankle, said she knew something was wrong when the nurse left the room for a second opinion.
Woman beat mum with dog lead as she waited for child at school gates
A woman attacked another mum as she waited for her child to pick her child up from school. Jordan Lawless told victim Carla Hardy "look at me again or I will slash your face" before he began to repeatedly hit her.
Hardy remembered tasting blood in her mouth but it wasn't until later when she realised she'd been hit with a dog lead.
Tragedy after girl, 4, asked her dad to run her a bath
A dad has spoken about the horrifying moment he found his four-year-old daughter drowning after she had asked him to run a bath. Jamie Richardson, 31, said his daughter was in the bath "happy as Larry" when he went out of the room to get her pyjamas before returned to find she'd had a seizure and was beneath the bath water.
Seaside pub named one of the best in the UK
A Southport pub built inside three old fisherman's cottages has been nominated for a top national award. The Windmill, described as a "typical English pub," was named Merseyside Pub and Bar of the Year in the National Pub and Bar Awards and will go head to head with others throughout the country to be named best in the UK.
