Hello and welcome to this morning's instalment of Our Liverpool; the ECHO's handy round-up of all the big news, sport and entertainment stories from across Merseyside.
There's nothing quite like that Friday feeling and, whatever your plans are for this weekend, I hope it's a good one. As the ECHO's women's football writer, I'll be spending my Sunday bringing you all the latest updates from Liverpool's crunch clash with Reading in the Women's Super League down at Prenton Park.
Ticketing information for the game can be found here but for those of you unable to be there in person, we will be bringing you all of the important updates and match reaction here on our website.

Hero nurses
Some off-duty nurses came to the rescue when an elderly man got stuck in his car after a crash in Aintree. Merseyside Police were called to School Lane, near the junction of Sefton Drive, at around 1pm on Thursday, February 2, following reports of a collision. Once officers arrived at the scene they found two cars had crashed, with one man not being able to get out of his Vauxhall Astra. You can read the full story here.
Otterspool adventures
The Liverpool mum of three at the head of a North West play centre empire has shed light on her company's £1m expansion plans for a site near the banks of the Mersey. Cheryl Cosgrove, 49, started her career in banking before opening Fun Town in Garston in 2010. She launched Velocity in Widnes five years later with the help of husband Steven.
Now operating as Otterspool Adventure Centre, Cheryl and Steven have had planning permission for a new 4,000 sq ft building at the site to further expand their offering. You can read the full story here.
Everton on the up
And finally, it's been a pretty bleak couple of months for the Blue half of Merseyside but Everton Women are continuing to impress in the Women's Super League. The Toffees currently sit fifth in the table after three back-to-back victories and will have the opportunity to test themselves against the very best when they take on Manchester United on Sunday.
Brian Sorensen's side were beaten 3-0 when they faced United at Walton Hall Park back in October, but the Everton boss is confident it will be a different story this weekend at Leigh Sports Village. You can read the full story here.
