We reported on the tragic news that a 16-year-old schoolgirl had been murdered on Saturday. Brianna Ghey, who was a Year 11 pupil at Birchwood High School, was found stabbed in Linear Park, Culcheth at 3.13pm Saturday, February 11.
A 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, both from the local area, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody and are reportedly assisting police with their investigation. Read the full story here.
