Hello and welcome to this afternoon's installment of Our Liverpool; the ECHO's handy round-up of all the big news, sport and entertainment stories from across Merseyside.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm the ECHO's resident Women's Football Writer, covering both Liverpool and Everton in the Women's Super League as well as keeping you up to date with all the important updates from the grassroots game. It's a really exciting time to be involved in women's football, with last year's EUROs having sparked something of a revolution in the women's game and this summer's World Cup fast approaching.
I hope this daily digest helps keep you up to date with what's going on in the world of women's sport, as well as of course bringing you a round-up of the very best content from across the ECHO site.

Harvey Elliott stunner sees off Wolves
But sticking with football, last night saw Liverpool book their place in the fourth-round of the FA Cup thanks to a stunning Harvey Elliott wonder-goal against Wolves at Molineux. It marked a welcome reprieve for the Reds, who've been struggling for form of late, having slumped to back-to-back defeats against Brentford and Brighton in the Premier League.
Our Liverpool FC correspondent Paul Gorst and Chief Liverpool FC Writer Ian Doyle were in the West Midlands to bring you all the crucial updates from Wednesday's third-round replay. It was something of a statement victory for Liverpool, who will return to league action against Chelsea this weekend, and you can read more about last night's game here.
Merseyside travel chaos
Ahead of last night's game, things got pretty, erm, steamy in the BBC studio. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the current temperatures, with a yellow warning for snow and ice having been extended to the whole of Merseyside in recent days.
And the wintry weather has caused plenty of disruption this morning, with a number of train services cancelled as Merseyrail put their cold weather mitigation plans into action. We've been bringing you updates, pictures and travel news from across the region in our live blog, which you can follow here.
