Hello and welcome to this morning's instalment of Our Liverpool; the ECHO's handy round-up of all the big news, sport and entertainment stories from across Merseyside.
I hope everyone is having a great week and is enjoying the slight reprieve from the wintry weather. I don't know about you but I find I'm in a much better mood when I come home from work and it's still light outside.
January and February can be a tough couple of months so it's lovely to be reminded that spring is just around the corner. In today's digest, I'll be filling you in on some of the more light-hearted stories that have cropped up in our region over the last couple of days, starting with some controversy over a pretty bougie burger.

Burger debate rumbles on
Food lovers have branded a local chef a "legend" and "bang on" for charging £19.50 for a burger, while others have been left scratching their heads over the price.
Merseyside restaurateur Gary Usher took to social media this week to defend the cost of a burger at his new pub after its £19.50 price tag came under scrutiny. You can read the full story here.
Mortified couple
A couple were "mortified" when they realised they had left a restaurant without paying their bill.
The Watering Can on Greenbank Road previously appealed for two diners to settle their bill after they left the restaurant without paying. After spotting the couple walking out and checking CCTV, it was feared it was a deliberate act. You can read the full story here.
WSL Merseyside derby
As the ECHO's Women's Football Writer, it would be remiss of me not to remind you that the Women's Merseyside derby is now set to take place at Goodison Park.
The Blues scored three without reply in the reverse fixture at Anfield in September, with a record-breaking 27,574 fans in attendance at the home of their rivals. And Brian Sorensen's side will be hoping they can achieve a league double when they host Liverpool on Sunday, March 26. You can read the full story here.
