The inaugural Otherlands Music & Arts Festival welcomed thousands of happy revellers to Perthshire over the weekend.
Nestled within the leafy grounds of Scone Palace, the boutique camping event was billed as “more than a music festival” with a range of other entertainment available.
Comedy, cutting edge art, industry panels, DJ workshops, wellness activities and more ensured crowds smiled from start to finish across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Tom Ketley, founder of Otherlands Music & Arts Festival, said the event’s debut “surpassed all expectations”.
He added: “We want to thank everyone involved for making our first year so memorable, we can’t wait to bring it back to you again next year.”
The sun shone as the gates opened to the campsite at midday on Friday.
French house virtuoso Folamour brought day one to an unforgettable close on the Portal Stage hosted by the world renowned Sub Club.
Across the day fans were also graced by sets from some of the most exciting homegrown talent, including Butho The Warrior, who played an explosive back to back with Optimistic Soul, as well as Jaimie, Seren Seo, Wheelman and more underneath the botanical dome of the Fools’ Utopia jungle.
Over at the Sonare Stage, SAINT B*TCH took the helm curating the line-up for the evening. A club night with inclusivity at its core, it was born out of a desire to create safer spaces for women & LGBTQ+ people.
Founder Emjanero kicked things off with her hypnotic and unique sound before DJ Suzie, Xivro and Miss World took to the stage.
One of the most sought after DJ and producers in electronic music and one third of the Mercury Prize-winning trio, The xx: Jamie xx then set Saturday alight with his technicoloured DJ set on the Frissonia stage.
The festival’s main stage also saw a sunset moment from soul-pop star Joesef, as well as sets from 2022’s BBC Introducing winner Lewis McLaughlin, Dundee’s Be Charlotte and singer, songwriter and producer Alewya.
Meanwhile, Perth pair Max Spittal and Mitch Hunter, of Craigie Knowes, loved their special set at a venue very close to home.
Saturday also saw the launch of the Pavilion Stage which featured comedy from double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Andrew Maxwell, as well as industry talks, tarot readings and beginner DJ workshops.
Guests were also offered the chance to take a break with a range of wellness activities including yoga, meditation and breathwork.
Otherlands came to a close on Sunday as Bicep brought their mesmerising live show.
International hero of house Honey Dijon shut down the Portal Stage, with other acts including Maverick Sabre, Biig Piig and many more sending everyone home in high spirits.
