Oscar-winning actress Dame Emma Thompson has written a new children's book titled 'Jim’s Spectacular Christmas' with illustrator Axel Scheffler. Interestingly, Thomspon and Scheffler have been pen pals for roughly 30 years and so teaming up for this project was easier for them. The book will be published by Puffin in October this year.
'Editorial director Andrea MacDonald bought world rights in Thompson’s text from Carol Crouch, with design manager Monica Whelan commissioning illustrations from Scheffler directly,' reads a report by The Bookseller.
