In an exciting game on Sunday, the Baltimore Orioles managed to secure a 6-4 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers, preventing a sweep in their series. The highlight of the game was Jackson Holliday, baseball's top-ranked prospect, who delivered his first big league hit in the seventh inning.

Holliday, who had been struggling since his call-up, expressed relief at finally getting his first hit. He had struck out in his first two at-bats and was 0 for 13 with nine strikeouts before his crucial hit in the seventh inning.

With the Orioles trailing 4-3 in the seventh, Holliday pulled a single into right field off a 99 mph pitch from reliever Abner Uribe. He then showcased his speed by advancing from first to third on a teammate's RBI single, ultimately scoring the tiebreaking run for the Orioles.

At just 20 years and 132 days old, Holliday became the youngest Orioles player to produce a hit since Manny Machado achieved the feat in 2012.

Teammate Colton Cowser also made an impact by hitting a home run in the following inning, contributing to Baltimore's offensive efforts. Cedric Mullins and Ryan O'Hearn also added solo homers for the Orioles.

On the pitching side, Yennier Cano secured the win for the Orioles, with Craig Kimbrel closing out the game with his third save of the season.

Despite a strong offensive showing in previous games, the Brewers struggled on Sunday, going 2 for 17 with runners in scoring position. Milwaukee had tied a franchise record by scoring at least seven runs in six consecutive games leading up to this matchup.

Looking ahead, the Orioles will face the Minnesota Twins at home, while the Brewers will head home to take on the San Diego Padres in their next series.

Overall, the Orioles' victory was a much-needed boost after facing the threat of a sweep, showcasing the team's resilience and determination on the field.
