Orient Cables shares make electrifying debut, list at 65% premium over IPO price

Orient Cables GMP IPO BSE NSE

Shares of Orient Cables made a stellar Dalal Street debut on Monday, listing at a 65% premium to the IPO price. The stock opened at Rs 450 on the NSE and Rs 448 on the BSE, compared with its issue price of Rs 272.

The Rs 552-crore Orient Cables IPO was a book-built issue comprising a fresh issue of 1.18 crore shares worth Rs 320 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 85.29 lakh shares worth Rs 232 crore.
