Filho on the fight's key moment
“I’m a jiu-jitsu black belt. I’m a three-time Brazilian champion. I train with the best jiu-jitsu fighters in the world, and I knew that my black belt was going to speak louder. I was able to submit him with what we’re known for, which are chokes.”
Filho on opponent switch and event switch
“It was a different game plan. My (original) opponent was left handed; this opponent was right handed. It was a different approach to it. But we’re from Team Nova Uniao, and we’re ready to get beat up and stand back up again and get beat up again and get back up again.”
Filho on what he wants next
“I was very happy to be able to come back here and I can say that London is like a home to me right now. Hopefully in the future, I get to fight here again.”
