The lights are not always on on at the vast mansion known locally as the Taj Mittal, easily the biggest residence on London’s most exclusive billionaire’s row, Kensington Palace Gardens.

Indian born steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal bought the 55,000 sq ft property as his London home for £57 million as long ago as 2004.
