The opening date has been announced for a new gym at the £20m Wilford Lane Retail Park in West Bridgford. Pure Gym, which already has three sites in Nottingham, is opening its fourth gym at the site in Rushcliffe.
The retail park is also home to Lidl, which opened a discount supermarket in recent weeks, with the creation of 40 new jobs. Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts are among other new businesses at the site.
The new gym is expected to open Wednesday, May 11, at 12pm. From then on it will be open from 6am to midnight Monday to Saturday and 6am to 11pm on a Sunday and Bank Holidays.

A statement on its website read: "Searching for a new gym in Nottingham? Then no need to look for further, your new contract-free PureGym is opening in the West Bridgford area, making it simple, affordable and never easier to join up with us. Our new gym will feature the latest kit ready for you to use, whether you are looking for the best in cardio, free weights (with dumbbells up to 50kg!) or more, we’ll be ready for you when we open."
Pure Gym is also located at Castle Marina and the city centre. It comes after award-winning chippy the Cod's Scallops announced the date it will open at the Wilford Lane Retail Park. Almost 96 homes have also been proposed next to retail the park as well as the aforementioned new businesses.
