OpenAI is taking aim at the gruelling workloads behind Wall Street's 100-hour weeks with a new version of ChatGPT designed to automate tasks traditionally handled by junior bankers.

Called ChatGPT for Financial Services, the product was developed with Morgan Stanley and Evercore as design partners. It is initially geared towards investment banking and equity research and uses GPT-6 Astra alongside financial data from providers including Daloopa, PitchBook, and LSEG News.
