Not all superheros wear capes - some wear oversized hoodie blankets . And now shoppers can wear their favourite DC characters on their wearable blankets as Australian loungewear brand Oodie have launched a new collection of cosy designs.
While many rushed to snap up one of the brand’s snuggly oversized fleece hoodies over the winter to keep energy bills down, they’re still expected to be a popular choice for those who are planning camping trips, festivals, or just love sitting outside after sundown in the summer months.
Their wide range of quirky prints has proved a hit with fans on social media with Oodie racking up more than 4.3 million likes on TikTok.

Part of the reason it's proved so popular with its devotees is that it has licences for everything from Minecraft to Friends, Rick and Morty to Harry Potter. And now, superhero fans can find a selection of DC Comic patterns to be their trusty sidekick and must-have gadget.
Fans can choose from Flash, Batman and Wonder Woman designs in the new range of child and adult Oodies with an introductory deal of £25 off to encourage people to buy early.
This makes the children’s Oodies - coming in Flash and Batman designs - just £62 instead of £87, while adult Oodies, in all three styles, are £74 instead of £99, saving shoppers £15.
While the Batman and Wonder Woman designs are able to be shipped straight away - which could make the ideal Father’s Day gift for June 18 - Oodie says the Flash pattern has been ‘ in very high demand’, and is therefore on pre-order ready for dispatch at the end of the month on June 28.
Oodies are made with a vegan and cruelty free ultra soft flannel fleece paired with warm sherpa fleece so you don't have to worry about the cold. They’re lightweight and deliberately oversized for comfort and warmth, and have a big front pocket that fits all of your essentials, too.
Shoppers have hailed the Oodie as ‘unbelievably comfortable’ and some say it’s ‘never coming off’. Reviewing the product, Tiegan said: “100% worth the money - is the softest and warmest thing and fits very well - I am 5’8” and it goes below my knees. Got them two for £98 but I would pay full price as they are so comfortable and help with anxiety as well - came on the day they were dispatched into the UK.”
Sam H added: “This is my fave Valentines pressie ever. Oh I love it!!! In fact it’s never coming off, great for my cold house, the beach & camping. I’m looking for the two pack for my girls for Easter, love the deals.”
