At present the leader of opposition in the Bihar assembly, Yadav has been the state’s Deputy Chief Minister twice in coalition governments with Nitish Kumar’s JDU. He is leading the INDIA bloc in the backward state.
In a conversation with Newslaundry, Yadav spoke about the future of INDIA bloc, its strategy in Bihar, the issues of unemployment and migration and the long-pending demand for special status to Bihar.
The youth leader, who has held more than 200 campaign rallies in the ongoing election season, also spoke about the possibilities of a patch up with Nitish Kumar, Rahul Gandhi’s absence in Bihar and people’s mandate.
