BENGALURU: The Fix My Street mobile app, touted by BBMP to be a speedy solution for citizens' complaints on pothole-riddled roads, has come unstuck. Though the Palike had announced last month that the public could lodge their complaints through the app, it has emerged that only civic officials can access the same.
The revelation has brought under a cloud BBMP's claim that it has repaired over 85% of the 12,594 potholes it had identified using the app and the remaining 1,795 will be filled soon. This even as complaints pour in about craters proliferating on roads. The civic body's latest pothole-filing exercise has already cost it Rs 3.9 crore.
