The US Department of Labor recently barred four employers from hiring H-1Bs for 2027 and 2028 after they were found as wilful violators. Labor Department's inspector general Anthony D'Esposito announced the measure and issued a warning that such actions will continue. "If you're screwing over American workers, we're coming for you," D'Esposito said.

"Some companies treat H-1B as a get rich quick scam. @Sonderling47 and I are restoring integrity and protecting U.S. jobs. Subpoenas issued. Warrants executed. Much more to come," the post said.
GowraTech, LLC, Renotek Group LLC, Seeloz, Inc. and Sherwood at Mount Dora, Inc. dba Sherwood Academy are the four companies that have been blacklisted for H-1B hiring, effective July 1, 2026. Their debarment periods run into 2027 or 2028, depending on the employer.
They have all been found to be 'wilful violators,' which means they committed a wilful failure or a material misrepresentation over H-1B labor condition requirements.
