OneTag launched for FASTag users: You can now change issuer bank without replacing your FASTag; what will happen to your existing wallet?

FASTag users will soon be able to switch their issuer bank without closing their existing NETC (National Electronic Toll Collection) FASTag or getting a new physical tag. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has launched ‘OneTag’, a new NETC FASTag portability solution that will allow users to change their issuer bank while continuing to use the FASTag already attached to their vehicle. But what will happen to their existing FASTag wallet? Do they need a fresh Know Your Customer (KYC) verification for OneTag?
