Viewers were stunned at comedian Matt Lucas when he appeared on BBC’s the One Show - and revealed he had lost masses of weight. The comedian appeared with his mother as he discussed his appearance on the BBC series Who Do You Think You Are tonight (Thur June 16), which will reveal his family’s unexpected connection to Anne Frank.
And fans took to Twitter to speak of their surprise over his appearance - and said he’s looking good! Matt has previously spoken about putting on weight in lockdown, BirminghamLive reports, previously telling ITV’s Lorraine that he “had to do something about it”.
He said: “I lost some weight, I needed to take the edge off, because I put on a lot of weight in lockdown.” He added: “I’ve still got a bit of a tum and a bit going on here [point to his chin]. I’m not a skinny minnie.”
